until now, i don feel that our 1H13 has been separated.
hmm i still get to see all of u.
well but we wont be able to have tutorial class tgt anymore.

thinking back..
before our year1 starts, im like those anti-social kind of pple.
i skipped e camps n even e 2nd day of e orientation.
i don expect myself to be so close with my class.
i thou i'll be on my own.
but who knows...

time really flies, now we're in year 2. but in diff class

in fact
i really miss e time we had tgt
times when we made a lot of noise in class
times when we had lunch tgt
times when we had class meetings
and more & more..

now, we're in diff class.
don think will be able to see those in a diff lec grp.
i will really really miss u guys.

but i can say that at least 20 1h13 are! i miss the outing where we go ramen teh to eat after exams and of course our first class chalet! :D

and everyone who keep this blog alive! esp when we are still informing each other abt the edusave and class allocation stuffs. :DD

Hi everyone!

Time really flies ... it is now the beginning of your second year in TP. I hope you all have had a good break prior to coming back to school.

“Change is the only constant” apparently holds some truth. I am not sure how you took the “scrambling” of your previous class, but I assume that there would be some disappointment among you, which is totally understandable. If I could have it my way, I would certainly like to keep you all as 2H13 J ... The school did explore the possibility of keeping the care-group and care-person for the entire 3 years, but it’s evidently too challenging to materialize that due to the growing size of the cohorts and the FAST system. That explains why some of you are now separated from your former classmates.

However, on the positive note, you will get to meet new friends and new care-person, while having the “luxury” of maintaining the good bond with your “old” friends. Even though I am no longer your care-person, please feel free to contact me if I could be of assistance in any matters. You can still treat me as your “unofficial” CP J ... you know where to look for me. You are welcomed to swing by my office anytime.

As you are now in the commencement of being juniors, please get started right and put your best foot forward. I am wishing you lots of success with your study.

- Administer the quizzes
Providing Speedy and quality service.

Answer general enquiries about the event and updating visitors of basic information.

Maintaining the general tidiness and cleanliness of the work space.

I think, we should wear it on THURSDAY instead of Friday. Reason being...we have many lectures on Thursday but only have 2 tutorials on Friday. Dear HTM Students,

All of you are invited to be part of the Food and Beverage Managers' Association Youth Wing a subsidiary of the National Food and Beverage Managers' Association, formed with the intention of reaching out to the Youths of Singapore and providing them with insights into the F&B industry of our country.
As members of this executive association, you would get to not only meet other members like the F&B directors and manager from the hospitality industry, but also engage in social activities and gatherings. This year, the proposed events that one would get to enjoy as a member include:

1. Attending a Christmas function where the Youth Wing would be able to meet and network with the Executive Commitee of the Food and Beverage Managers' Association (FBMA).

2. Assisting in the Annual Amazing Waiter's Race which is a competition pitting the country's best waiters.

3. Planning and executing a National FB-Mazing Race which is an Amazing Race whereby all participating hotels are able to send representatives to compete in. (You can also join in the race as competitors as well. The prizes are good!)

4. Assisting in the Annual FBMA Dinner and Dance 2008, helping to co-ordinate the event and work closely with hotels and suppliers.

5. Planning and producing a quarterly newsletter for the Youth Wing.

6. A bartendering and alcoholic seminar by DIAGEO.

These are but some of the many events and activities that one is able to enjoy as a member of the FBMA Youth Wing. The membership fee is S$50 per annum, which amounts to barely a dollar per week, which is a well worth investment and one where your rewards would far exceed this monetary value.

There will be a guest lecture by Mr. Ettore Palazzi, ex-Food and Beverage Director of Sheraton Towers Singapore who will be coming down to Tourism Academy Sentosa on the 9th of November from 1530-1730 at tutorial room, C2-TR3 to give interested parties a better understanding of the association.
